Pimping my golf up lol.

i have just brought a new vw golf 1.6 today and goin to pick it up today.
just have a few questions.

i want to mod it a lil.. its already got certain bits done to it.. but what else can i do.

its...

been lowered
standard bodykit
17"alloys
flip down cd changer and full surround sound
stainless steel exhaust
rear smoked lights
lightly tinted back windows
white flashin indicators

.. what else shall i do to it>?

p.s. where can i buy a good induction kit for ---- a 1997 (P) vw golf 1.6 cl (and what type of extra bhp we looking at)

basic colour coded stuff

VR6 splitter
remove arches
16" bbs rs  :tongue:
debadged rear, maybe front
decked
gti interior
dearch trimmed
vento front if you wish

induction kit = 0 extra bhp tbh, and some noise.

You could save up all those 50p spends & put them in your little piggy bank at home, then in a years time fork out for a GTi, or at least a car worth 'improving'?

Saying that, go have a look at LazyLunatic's thread, he's made his 1.4 look just as good as a GTi & despite a pretty chavvy start turned out a nice Golf! :afro:

I remember the days of paying stupid insurance!! and being vague in what i told them.... :lipsrsealed: (but i would where possible tell them whats being done as sometimes it has little affect on price you pay, but a big difference if anything happens ....in fact I pay less with all my mods declared than when it was standard!!)
try this link for mk3 pictures (not all gti's etc) and get some inspiration...http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=32871.0 and have a look in the Classified section on here as theres allways someone breaking a gti/vr6 and swapping most trim over is simple!

Get a decent VR6 interior or gti. Much better seats  :cool:
