Few quetions

* How easy is it to replace a cable on the  driver side seat so it will tilt.

* Ive replaced thermo stat and checked water pump but when u put heater to hot  it hot for a sec then goes cold but other night i was going round town put it half way and itwas hot ish

theres a sticky with photos in mk2 maintence sec mate i used it  worked 4 me

Most likely this will be air pockets in the coolant system, if not your into heater matrix territory.  Have a search of the Mk2 section and you'll find loads of stuff. In short, you'll be doing lots of squeezing of pipes and running the engine up to temp with the expansion tank cap off.
