Mk4 headlights on a mk3 golf
« on: 16 September 2008, 21:50 »
Hi I keep seeing MK3 golf gti's with mk4 headlights. Are these simply a plug and play or is some new wiring etc required?

u can buy mk4 style lights which fit straight in a mk3 like ive got or you can fit mk4 ones but need to cut some of ur car to get them in and then connect the plugs up.

Or you could go the whole hog and put a mk4 front end on a mk3. And have your self a mk3.5 ;)

i wouldnt mind a ratty looking mk3 though..

Might of just been my luck, or that the car is very low, but I got through two sets of genuine Hella ones thanks to stones...

Looked good though!
