when you spec up the Scirocco to the same spec as the GTI inc free leather and then add in the discount you can get for the GTI,

it ends up being about £3k plus more which is a fair whack.

And it is considerably less practical than the GTI.  The two cars are aimed at very different markets, so to compare the two directly is a big no-no, and simply shows how far FG has to stoop in their journalistic endeavours!

Sadly, that modus operandi seems to be the only way which those types of journos can justify their existance!

I see that personally I think thats crap engine maybe the same the style of the car is completly different though. I dont actually like 5th gear and actually feel like a trator to Top Gear if I watch it.
