wont start starts now but still not right

my 1993 vr6 wont start it has bn running but kept cutting out also when it started it use 2 spluter for a few seconds
now it wot start
it sparks at the plugs fuel pump primes
it wnts 2 start but wont
what cud it b?
in the last week ive changed fuel pum and ecu relay engine speed sensor and cleand isv and throttle body it was runiing still bit rough after all this but now it wont start

Following on from my lumpy running, have you checked the vacuum hoses? Worth a look, and a replacement. Mines running a bit rough, but it's only split a ltitle. If you've got a totally perished one, might be an issue?

right got it started now
it runs ok for a minute then it wnts 2 cut out and then it wont rev past 4grand n then it just bogs down complely
any ideas

i cant remember why, but when it wont rev that high its becuase the ecu is in safe mode becuase of a fault.
get it hooked onto VAG.com and find the fault and clear them.

Have a look in the maintenance section, Bradley has written up a few points for poor running. Poor cambelt adjustment can cause the engine to go into safe mode?
