Not really - that is about the ball park percentage figure for four wheel drive motors. 

However, thinking a little more on this, how do they make allowances for the Haldex system, which can go from 2wd to 4wd - and therefore the calculations should really be on a variable scale! 

You have overstepped the mark of complexity lol. No idea. Maybe I should use 2wd losses for wheel power ;-)

If there is a limit on numbers then R32OC peeps will take preference but anyone on here is more than welcome to join in. There may be a bit of ribbing between the forums occasionally but if we're honest, the GTI and R32 are both great cars and very similar ;-)

Just thought id pass this on to you ben, my mate whos got the same spec ed30 dsg as you, with revo stage1 remap and standard zorst to 300bhp approx, has just come back from the german autobahns, and was hitting a top speed of 171 mph!!!!, and was regually flashing Porshe's to get outa the way!!!. (give 10% speedo inacuracy)

Im not sure whether youve been over there to clock a top speed yet, but thought id pass that on.

Ha... Not done that in mine yet, as wouldn't entertain them speeds over here obviously. Was meant to be going to Nurburgring end of this month but it's all fell through, so will have to have a go next year maybe..
