Car Damaged
« on: 14 September 2008, 15:02 »
God damn it...

Bit of an accident last night, didnt think it was too bad but after checking it this morning there are marks on the rear and top parts of the bumper and it looks like the bumper has been slightly pushed up too - which doesnt look like a major issue - just a lip from the rear arch to the bumper when you run your hand across them, other than that the obvious large dint and broken tail light.

Damaged was caused by the plastic spare wheel cover from a freelander.  I was in the car at the time and I have all the 3rd party's details so hopefully will all be sorted no problem.

As there is no crease in the dint I am hoping it can be pulled out without too much damage

Gutted though, I knew I should have gone in the Mk4

....Really sorry to read this, neg - Extremely frustrating. Somehow one has to always think positive - No-one hurt and you'll soon be back to normal.

Hoping you have the minimal of hassle

I dont think the other guy was paying attention, I could see it going to happen but there was nowhere to run so to speak.

4x4's and high wheel covers!

Yep, hopefully will all be sorted - personally though I always hate having any work done like this as I expect it to be done spot on and if not then it becomes a hassle to get it spot on.

Not sure about LED's on a black car - silver and white they look good.

Do you have tinted rears Neg? I have a set of 4 standard lights taken from my GTI when I put tinted in, if you need a standard one I could post it to you. They look like tints though, can you confirm this either way
