As I said before, count me in T_T, and I'd agree a more central venue would get more people interested! 

Its easy for you.  You could get to Donington before breakfast from where you live!

Not made it to any of the Autometrix track days - but then they are at Castle Coombe, and that is a scary circuit! 

^Tragic but the owner didn't seem at all bothered! His brakes had failed and he went straight on into the tyre wall at Camp Corner.

i managed to do about 4 laps in my old rover and completely killed the brakes..

....Never driven any track day anywhere, unless you count cones on an airfield during a course.

I've had plenty of passenger rides though.

Very, very easy - Just apply your handbrake when you park to cool down after a few laps.
