About time, pictures of my new motor
« on: 12 September 2008, 19:43 »
Just for you Joe

I have been waiting for a dry day to clean my new car and take some pictures, lights not the best but at least its not raining

I have fitted 10mm H&R hubcentric wheel spacers to help the standard alloys fill the arches a little better, in fact the wheels which I was desperate to change have grown on me

Had the car Revo'd last Saturday and I must say I'm pretty impressed, the car made 302bhp and 318lbs/ft, and with a few more miles, its only done 1500, I'm confident it'll loosen up and the figures will improve.
I'm running pretty conservative settings on the map at the minute B6, F9 and T5, but my select plus switch arrived on Thursday so it can be tweaked, in fact I'm going to ADS in Preston on Friday and he's going to set it up using live VAG-com.

The interior is a lovely place to be and really feels screwed together well and I'm lovin the FBMFSW and the sat-nav. The brakes are a deffinate improvement over the golf's.

I'm really pleased with the car over all, although it doesn't feel as light on its feet as the ED30 and doesn't turn in quite as eagerly the traction and solid feel make up for that.
I was determined not to go as far down the modding route as the ED30 but I think resistence is futile

cheers fellas

Joe even reckoned I'd had my picture taken with a random car in a car park when I posted a quick phone pic a while ago
