Like 182_Blue, I used Hammerite smooth. Did this around 18 months ago. Still no corrosion  :wink:

No. Either I'm a slow-ass driver not generating enough heat or the paint is fine to use, IMO  :smiley:

I done my hubs a while ago with red hamerite smooth, and a month on they are still looking Top.

Did you prep the hubs in any way prior to painting?
Current – Mk7 Golf R, Night Blue, 5dr, Manual / Mk7.5 Golf R, Indium Grey, Estate, DSG

 washed them, wire brushed them then sprayed with brake cleaner

Going to have to get around to doing the rears soon. Fronts obviously don't need doing though.

Hammerite smooth is probably the easiest solution. too.

I did the same on mine a while ago now, they still look as good as when I first did them. No fires, no rust and they look perfect.  :smug:

Can I ask what you sprayed up into your arches, (I use AG vinyl stuff, have a few bottles left so trying to use it up)?

I took my disks off to do mine, fronts are quite easy apart from the 21mm nut  :embarassed:
