i aint that cheap, if the whole car is written off in a accident then the engine aint worth nothing to a brakers yard or insurence company because of the complex wiring involved in the engine loom and also who is going to be after an engine like that apart from a tuners or racing team for spare parts or develpment. As this car runs can bus data network it would be hard to fit this engine in any other car other then a Mk 5 golf or simular. This is why they are not worth much money compaired to the likes of 20v turbo or r32 because they are easy to fit and wire in most car. ive had my engine in my garage for about 3 months cant seem to shift it to anyone?
