How the hell do you work on an electric window?

My passenger side motor needs replacing.... If you hit it with a hammer it works for a few seconds. I have sprayed WD40 everywhere I can, but no different.
At first I thought I'll replace the motor, but you cant seem to remove it from the rest of the mechanism. It comes about 10mm out and then stops.
So I thought I would replace the whole lot, mech and all, but there doesnt seem to be enough room to get it out!
Please Help!

As long as you unbolt it all it will come out.  You will probably have to change it completely, the same thing happened to mine as it was fooked, so I have a keep-fit window on the drivers side now

once fully unbolted you can squish the cables enough to remove the regulator, dont forget to take the glass off it first or you wont get far!
