Children should be seen and not heard.

Wouldn't worry TT - we are a more mature and accepting audience here. Feck em, they need to respect their elders. Downside of the current economic climate when toddlers can afford the Mk V - maybe time to move on to the Mk VI but then, NO FECK EM AGAIN

No respect

to be honest it's easy to get slightly upset when giving your opinion and someone throws it back in your face but you went on the offensive quite quickly with comments about chav grilles and farting on the autobahn, so what were you expecting

my opinion that may well be worth jack sh!t is that they wont make much difference and would only be worth considering if you thought they looked better and any small difference they make isn't worth arguing about

I ventured back to ukmkivs earlier tonight but it has gone right down hill theres nowt worth reading on there now imo.
i got a bit hacked of with the anti ed30 brigade and had a go myself back at them and it turned sour.
I did notice they copied my VW / seat part and price list lol.

T/T the R32 callipers dont have the piston hosing painted either, might be as they aren't seen so painting them is a waste of cash?

with out stirring anything up lol, I am getting the S3 intercooler fitted on sat, as you know i have said open grills, by that post am i right in saying i am taking air away from where that I/C will be fitted.
I am doing a 1/4 mile day at crail and wondered if its worth reverting back to closed?

to be honest it's easy to get slightly upset when giving your opinion and someone throws it back in your face

I agree with that sentiment, but I certainly didn't get upset over anyone challenging my posts.  But they didn't realy challenge any of my valid comments.  Instead, they used the "my post count is larger than yours" attitude, and got very personal - and not at all welcoming towards n00bs.  Which I find a little strange that the Admins allow!

but you went on the offensive quite quickly with comments about chav grilles and farting on the autobahn, so what were you expecting

But it's called "right of reply".  And if someone really got upset about the grilles being called "chav", and ants breaking wind - then they really need to get a life.  Because those comments were clearly meant to be "tounge in cheek".

my opinion that may well be worth jack sh!t is that they wont make much difference and would only be worth considering if you thought they looked better and any small difference they make isn't worth arguing about

But I've never argued against them on a point of looks, and I thought that I'd made that point clear, hence the "ETTO" bit?  :undecided:

Yeah, I thought they'd laugh at it!  Your right though, they must have had their sense of humour removed!

i got a bit hacked of with the anti ed30 brigade and had a go myself back at them and it turned sour.

Was it any of them who had a go at me?

I did notice they copied my VW / seat part and price list lol.

Typical.  Talk of double standards.

T/T the R32 callipers dont have the piston hosing painted either, might be as they aren't seen so painting them is a waste of cash?

Ahh, OK, thanks.  What about the S3s?  My RS calipers are fully painted, and there's cock-all room to see the rears when the alloys are on.  Maybe that's where the Audi "price premium" goes to!

with out stirring anything up lol, I am getting the S3 intercooler fitted on sat,

Are you doing it yourself.  Its a twit of a job, but if you are pulling off the front end, you might as well add the Forge too.   And make sure to use some anti-seize paste on the fixings.  The steel bolts and the alloy speed nuts on the lock carrier can corrode fairly quick!

as you know i have said open grills, by that post am i right in saying i am taking air away from where that I/C will be fitted.

Do you have vag-com?  If so, hook it up, and monitor the inlet air temp.  I'd probably state they'd have more of an effect of taking air away from the front brake ducts, along with the underfloor DSG ducts.  Try with both grilles, swapping them between runs.

LOL rather amusing, I too like the point 1, point 2, point 3 etc!

As I say alot: A pube is a pube in anyone's book, all you can do is trim them back!   Best thing you can do, is chin them up, from hell!

Don't bother with them!
