Rear Electric Window Problem
« on: 07 September 2008, 19:33 »
Ok, i think a mechanizm is broken on my back drivers side window, as the window goes down but will not go back up, the motor is working but i think maybe a clip or something has come off? i can feel like a block on the back of the runner on the wire, but this seems to be above the runner thing?

i think this should clip in but how would i get this done? does any body have any tutorials on how to fit the electric windows as i have looked every where.

i think they came standard on the car? but am unsure as i am only just getting really to grips with this golf.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago, its the white block on the runner which is connected to the wire that is broken. mine was only broken slightly and would go down but not up,if you pushed it up and then made the motor go up it would stay but wander down while driving

solution is to either change whole mechanism or ring the dealer who should be able to supply a new clip
