mine does it too, when you turn your spots on the dipped cme on and give a dark patch directly infront of you. I want to know how i can change it so when spots come on the main beam stays on too.


Im sure an uprated loom will sort this for you. Did on mine

this is normal, done it on my rover too.

H4 bulbs are twin filament (one filament for dipped, one for main) and just as you pull the stalk back both sets of filaments will illuminate.


I don't think a semi will give the same results

all mk2 headlights use H4 bulbs, you cant change them to single filament bulbs otherwise you'd need to somehow magically change the bulb mounts and introduce an additional bulb to the headlight!
