Hi,
Has anyone ever converted a 5 door golf mk2 gti to a 3 door. Is it possible? Any input would be appreciated.

it is possible, and you'd be the first as normal people just buy a 3dr.

Doing this would cause problems in rear access, as 2/3 door cars have longer doors to enable easier rear entry. Not a big problem unless you always carry rear passengers, in which case the safety aspect in a crash comes into play.
