The bad news is the car will only be available in Holland and just 300 are being produced. The GTI 240 is set to retail for €31 995

Decent!

I like anything that is over and above regular versions, hence i suppose my choice in the Pirelli.

An output of 230/240 PS is the kind of output I think the Golf should be pushing, especially since the current standard 200PS seems far below that of the competition!

In all the Mk6 GTI chat there seems to be thoughts that this car will have 210PS output? This would surely be a step backwards since it would neither match the competition and would also be a drop back from the ED30/Pirelli and this new edition engine outputs. Having said this the GTI-R would probably address these power issues however it would be nice IMO to have the standard car have an output similar to 230/240PS as otherwise i would prob feel short changed given the relative price premium!

S3?  :lipsrsealed:

Not sure I would do that! Not a fan of the A3, rather boring even in Sportline styling! Each to their own of course! I'd prob take a 1 series instead!
