hey guys,

where exactly is the mark on the dizzy to line up the rotor arm with? have had the dizzy off again and can't see an etched line anywhere

the only mark i can find is a small notch on the outside of the fixing bolt hole nearest the hall sender socket. does this line up with something on the head? there is no way the rotor arm will ever line up with this mark, rotor arm is around 10 o'clock when at TDC.

all the other timing marks are spot on, have checked through the flywheel viewing hole, cams are ok.

this is driving me nuts, have flattened the battery 3 times trying to get it going.................

its on the lip that the rotor arm sits on. if you clean up round the edge you should see it, also there is a notch cut out of the plastic dust cover behind the rotor arm

can see a small notch in the mounting lip at about 11 o'clock to the dizzy cap keyway, is that the one you mean?
