right saw a bora 150 tdi sport and a golf 130 tdi in the local car dealers today so thought may as well pop in see how much to change for a derv, and part ex on mine £1500 WTF? wayne kerrs. yet they got a 2001 2.0 8v on for sale for £4k

they give u nothing trade price then when they come to sell it they add 2 grand!!! u could about £3500 private for yours mate!!!

yeah dont usually bother with dealers cos i know what there like just the fact they had the 2 there, looking at it econmoically if i sold mine for 3500 the diesels are 6k??, would have to do a fair few miles to make the saving worth while

i do 30 miles round trip to work plus any miles after work i may do, working out the cost to change plus the cost of diesel is more would tak me 3 years to recoup the extra money of the diesel
