Pics request of stainless footrests
« on: 02 September 2008, 16:48 »
OK, i've tried the search, but to no avail.

Can someone post images of the different types of footrest which Gulfstream11 supplies?

Obviously just the standard GTI, but there was one with fixing holes and one without - and am just unsure which one to go for?  I think that the previous threads had the images deleted, because someone downunder was ripping off Gulfs work - so if you just wanna post them for a day (so 'err indoors can look), and then delete them later, that would be fine.

Thanks

OK, thanks chaps.

So is there any issues with either regarding fitting, or catching your foot on the screws?

No issues with mine. Gulf supplies the screws along with the chamfered washers and proper lock nuts. Fitting was a ten minute job and I've never caught my foot on the screws etc

Great quality, perfect fitting on both the footrest and the seat inserts. Can't go wrong IMO.

Also looks great with the red behind like Phil (and subsequently I) have done.

Phil mate, how did you stick yours on? I got mine almost two weeks ago but haven't manage to fit it (car was in bodyshop for a week).

Did you remove the footrest?

I'm starting to think one with holes would have been quicker and easier to fit.

hi mate the foot rest is only held in by 1 screw and one of them plastic clip things vw use , i think my rivet idea looks great cause the heads are disreat and alloy so they wont rust!
