What's wrong with the nice, safe, well-designed one under the car?

fuel cells are a pain in the arse. i much prefer haveing the tank outside asa do most people unless you have to have a cell. reason why is dislike them is if inside the car is. A if you spill petrol when filling up it stinks in the car, B rather a lot of petrol in the car with me.
stock tank is 55ltrs on one said it had to be brim full. on the road that chould give me upto 450 miles. on the track 75 - 100 so if much smaller would be a pain

It depends on the length of races really, if you doing 10 lappers a 20-25 litre tank will suffice.
Makes it much safer if you only have to carry 20 litres of fuel, rather than having to fill the standard tank to avoid surge at the end of the race.
