My day at Inters
« on: 09 May 2004, 22:07 »
Cmon everyone, post how your day at Inters went.

Who you saw - what you saw - what you liked and what you didn't. And tell us if you had any good moments getting there.

And post your links to your pictures here. If anyone need pics hosting mail me and i'll sort it.

Mine is coming up - it'll take a few minutes to type :)

Tin

OK, the problem of the week - take the Golf to Inters or the MG.

Unfortunately, i sent a mate over to collect the Golf from storage in the morning and it refused to start - which rather made our choice for us. Pity :(

Anyway, got rolling in the TF at 1030, hit the A12 by 1130 or so, and went into chase mode on a VR6 almost immediately. 60-70 miles of chase was the Best fun i've had for a very long time.

Full marks to Vixster for having the only car that really stuck out. I'm sure it was your car. Hope that problem doesnt cost too much to sort out :)

Wandered around for bit and only spotted 3 originals. 2 were on Wagenwheels stand, and the third was a female on MaxPower stand - looked original to me. And the leather looked good also.

I'll post pictures of what i thought looked good later.

All in all, apart from the rain, good time.

Had a great couple of chases on the way out. Cant figure out why everyone was driving like a saint generally.

Apparently 3 black slammed mk4s with stretch tyres were seen going down the A12 that morning tailing each other as if they were glued at high speed. Quite a sight it seems. And quite a pace.
