Have taken the B7U back. Got the parts guy to check for a QQ9 paint code and nothing showed up.

This is my finished repair using the halfords paint I mentioned before but with a bit of B7U mixed in to darken it a tad. Its not perfect, but fairly invisible from a few feet away.

Had one of mine repaired on Friday and the match is about 99% perfect.

It was a reasonably small mark less than 3" long on the edge, speaking the to guy who did the repair he said the colour isn't too difficult to match but does require a lightly smoked lacquer to help fade in the repaired area.

It only cost £50 which I didn't think was too bad.

of note , it may be worth checking out the colours available from Audi , as many of their wheels use the same ish colour. and the actual ED30 wheels were used on some audis .......

Audi use the same paint codes as Audi, and any competent parts person will look in the correct section of the EPC.
