Nope, I shall give it a try though.

EDIT: Just sent a request for the paint code, time will tell if I get a reply.

Got a reply from BBS and they said they are not allowed to give any information about OE wheels from VW. Contact them directly.

Hmmmm - that's a bit off!

Can't you get back to them again, and explain that the official VW touch up is blatantly wrong.  Maybe quote the paint code off the wheel, and also the two paint codes of the VW touch ups - and ask them to "confirm" if the info that you are providing BBS is infact correct.  Maybe explain that by VW failing to provide the correct touch up, they are not only tarnishing VWs name, but also tarnishing BBSs name too (bad customer service, bad product support, etc)!

Just found this http://www.wheelpaints.co.uk/

The only specialist colour they dont have is the VW Golf.  But they do have the Megan sport.  Is this colour close to the Pescara??????

Bump.....

Anyone got any more ideas for the colour of the Pescara, as I clipped one of mine today

It's not enough to warrant a refurb but would like to touch it up so it doesn't look as obvious.

Have just seen some pics of the new GTI MK6 looks like they have put pescaras on that.

Not that this helps us unluky ones with scuffed alloys.

Been to a 3rd alloy refurb place and they can get close to the colour but have advised me that i will have to have both wheels on the same side done so you cant tell the diffrence.

Might just bite the bullet and pay for them to all be done a diffrent colour.  Anthrecite looks good on a Black car??

Dammit. I was thinking of this thread today, and how lucky it was after 2000 miles, I hadn't buggered up the alloys yet. Was heading to halfrauds to get some megs hot rims and as I turned in, another car came out too fast. I ended up cutting a corner and knew the wheel had scraped down the side of the kerb corner.

Got out to have a look at it

Mine needs refurbing now too.

Glad I didn't get Monzas.
