took a trip to hastings yesterday (gorgeous day) on the bk of my friends motorbike, and all i could constantly see was mk2 golfs!!! was there somthing going on that i didnt no about?? i wish i had taken my mk2 down there now :(

On my way to Reading I pasted a convoy of mainly MK2 Golf, a few MK3's and 2 Pissrats.
My guess is they were going to the Edition show. Maybe DH is right on this one, or maybe they're dubaholics down there.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

I was at Whitby on a m8s' bike :laugh: and i only seen one mk2 GTi, one mk3 and one mk4 GTi. I think am going to have to get my bike licence.

I had a test run with the other half about getting a bike  :wink:. i'l put it lightly, She said " if you get a bike i'll cut ya balls off"   :huh: :cry: :sick:
I think i'll just let the idea of me getting a bike to sink in slowly and just mention it once a month and then try to get to mentioning it to once a week and then she might come round to the idea of been a bike chick.

I wouldn't take that, I know I say my missus says I can't have X, Y and Z but that's because we haven't got the money for the things I want  :grin:
