Hi, I am a newby owner of a MK4 Golf Gti Turbo. I have had it less than a week and the remote locking has stopped working with both fobs. I have changed the batteries in one of them as this seemed the obvious cause, but it didn't work. I have also noticed that the LED that usually flashes in the drivers lock has also stopped working. I can lock the car using the key, but when I then unlock it and open the passenger door the alarm goes off. I have also checked the fuses and they are ok. Please help as this has taken the shine off of owning a Grrreat car!!!

Tks Dubbz, but I am still at a loss. I think the problem may be more with the car side ofthings as the LED isn't flashing, any more tips would be appreciated!!!

Thanks Guys, I will double check all fuses again in the morning. Something else that I have noticed tonight, when locking/unlocking the car using the key in the door lock, none of the indicators flash etc.. like they do when you use the remote! Any other ideas???
