In your excitement and eagerness to hit the road, don't forget to go through some basic checks..refer to the sticky for new car collection for some guidance..whooops see someone suggested that earlier...still worth reiterating the point.
I would check the tyres, see if there the same on all four corners, or at least back to front and they match the car....there was a sorry tale of a guy on here who got a used low miler but his tyres were ridiculously worn...think he got it sorted though (can't recall clearly).
You'll want a full tool kit too (check the boot)...should there be a wee bottle opener in the centre console? I got one on ebay for a couple of quid, so no hassles if you don't...also they are not exactly critical.
I luurve collecting a new car, one of the great joys in life...(how sad am I eh?) except via Glasgow Audi, they made it the most painful and disturbing retail experience of my life...however thats a completely other tale of sales lies and ineptitude (and non VW related too).
