almost new owner!

Hi!
I ordered a MK V  GTI on 12th june- 3 door diamond black with sun roof, sat nav, arm rest, highline comp, exterior pack and reversing sensors. was told waiting 4 months. now has gone back to Oct end. Is this usual waiting time? Dealer is Lister's at Coventry

Sorry if I was a bit vague.
My question is simple- is 4.5- 5months waiting usual for a golf GTI?

 four to 5 months is a little excessive from a VW dealer, but it isn't unreasonably long. Mine arrived after 11 weeks :smiley:

My factory order for the MK5 was around a 12 week wait, but over the summer it can be a bit longer from what I remember.

Hello pop your question in the mk5 section you will get lot's of opinion's why, i think the VW factory shut's down in the summer for a couple of week's  :smiley:

Golf SOLD. Replaced with a Yamaha Raptor 660 quad and loving it. This will be replaced in August with a Raptor 700. Sold the quad now got a Vectra GSI 2.5 V6 and its the nuts.

Brands Hatch massive. MEMBERSHIP ACCEPTED!
