bit of a dilemma
have a budget of 6000-7000
shoud i go for a minted fully loaded vr6 highline or a lower spec iv1.8t?
i prefer full leather etc but cannot stretch to include full leather in a 1.8t.
what would you do?

I'd go for the VR6, you will get a nice motor, with plenty of power, and not be frustrated about not being able to afford to do the mods you would want to do to the 1.8T.

VR6 is hard to beat at 5000 quid.
You will be able to get a mint highline for under ?7000.
They can be tuned to well over 200 bhp.
A supercharger kit is 2000 quid, simply bolts on, will give you 250 bhp

It is a simple as that.
Compression on the V6 is quite low, so it will run fairly low boost induction, no bottom end rebuild required.
If only i had the cash :'(
