Hey vix, I also say keep as is, although if you were gonna change anything.  At the most i's go for single headlights with newer design, lke clears or angels.  debadged 5 slat grill etc.  No way would I have a Mk1 with square lights, Rallye, jetta etc.  Looks so wrong.  Before my smash.  I was tempted to remove the spots and replace them with black ports, one to cool engine and one to feed k-jet with cold air.  Only cos it would add to it's already angry looks.  well at the mo she don't look mean, she looks upset! As for chnging to a dark colour, forget it.  your's is a rare colour for any mk golf.  Keep it that way.  i know you won't change it anyway.  You'd have to chnge the seat piping then.  ;D

Standard isn't necessarily best,  especially when there are two marks of golfs with pretty much the same face, and with there being allot of mk2's around still that?s not good. But tweaking with it can make such a difference, I?ve had a play.  Even thought about mounting my oil cooler in a cut section of the grill.  Even though my cars poorly I still bought some bits for a face and arse job.  Pm me with your idea's if you wish and take it from there.  ;)

debadged single looks good but from some angles it makes the golf look like a mk1 fiesta  ;D

we can't have that now can we.  I would never compare the two and if u ever see a mk1 g with singles, u know it aint a festa so I woudn't worry too much.  :)
