hello everyone,
 
             i was driving home yesterday and i realised i passed the miltek factory so i poped in. the nice man told me i could get an extra 40 bhp with a sport cat on my 1.8t was he talkin out his arse?????????

2** Bhp, 2** Lb/ft , R-Tech map, FMIC, Forge CL007P, Powerflow Cat-back, 18" Tsw pace, Eibach -40mm springs, Pipercross induction kit, vr6 Clutch g60 flywheel

As a general rule I never take into consideration the gains when doing induction or exhaust to be honest. although a CAT will free up some HP.

i had before/after dyno tests when i had my full milltek fitted - 12bhp gain on an otherwise unmodified car

yep, and downpipe (2.5".. the 3" wasn't available at the time)

Nice one. Take it this was a 1.8T? I'm just assuming that.

he he if it gave that much bhp everyone would be snapping them up they do give a little but not that much he was a sales person what el;se can i say

lol 40 bhp is getting close to what you would get with a re mapp isnt it?
