lol. Its so slick you cant see its slick. Thats your problem. If you had HID's you could see its slick.

So back on topic. Better bulbs or hids. depends on budget, and if you want to dice with police, but i doubt you will get hassle.

did you mean has mine got a relay for the hids?? if thats what you meant (arsey comments aside) then yes i have fitted a relay for the hids. i am pretty handy with electronics.

and im not a fan of the passat at all, 4 motion or not, nothing to shout about in my opinion,  my money would go elsewhere, although i agree i wouldnt complain if it was on my drive (for free that is) so i could sell it on and buy something with a bit more style.

what bhp is that, 140??? (seriously, what bhp) Hmmmmm bet that sets the road on fire the big thing it is (lardy??)

i'd have an s3 on my drive!!!!! 265bhp, 2.0 turbo hmmmmmmmm!!!!!

Relay?!? i dont know what it is but if it makes them look white!

but seriously mk3's are slick. mk2's are slick too, but not like a mk3.

i wouldnt get a hid kit, basically cause of money, but come on - they are v. cool!

just upgrade bulbs should do it. Anyone know if the ring/philips ones look white? the 80/90% that is. tried some ice blue bright white ones and osram ones, just look the same. they are slightly brighter, but still look yellow!! I NEED the xenon look

LL ;)

No, did you try bulbs and a relay kit before fitting illegal headlights.

Nothing wrong with mk3's, sure they might  be heavier and slower than mk2's, but they have more comfort and imo are better for day to day use. Oh and with the right choosen mods can and do look better than mk2's. (imo).

As for xenons i was thinking of getting some and aslong as they pass an mot i can't see a problem. If they are illegal then yeh you run the risk of getting pulled but if your willing to take that risk then thats the individuals choice.

Iwas being followed buy one of the latest bmw m3's yesterday and his xenon's were blinding me so even factory fit xenons can be abit to bright.
