touch wood darl, mine has been stood longer than its been on the road as of late and she never spits her dummy out..
but also, as kells said, if left they will go bad...hence mine gets waxoyl slapped on religiously..
I always service her before taking her for a drive, when bringing her back on the road and shes fine
(you do miss the ride though  )

well let the nieces boyfriend drive it tonight

sat beside him and basically had to teach him to drive properly

he was doing stuff like going from 5th to second and using the brake to lower the speed between the change WTF!!!!!

had to tell him to go thru the box properly, how to hold steering wheel, how to brake, watch the rev counter not the speedo, etc

let him open it up and all i got was f*****king hell, f*****king hell, f****king hell this is quick, its sooo smooth, it drives lovely, this is 23yrs old?  :smug:

ahhhhhh mk1s nothing else comes close  :nerd:
