OMG Stolen mk1, police called me today

Well thank god we didn't put in that thread where the pub was otherwise we would all be in the frame. That black mk1 Golf GTI has been stolen.......and guess what muppet left his contact details at the pub giving the police their only tenuous lead ::)

Fortunately they seem happy with what I've said and they don't consider me exactly 'prime suspect', but bit of a worry all the same.

and people wonder why people blank their plates out of pics...

you have a dope car.. you post it up the net with the plate on... 40 quid for a HPI check to get your address.....

have read too many horror stories as it is.

On the brighter side, maybe the people who nicked it will actually love the car and get it back on the road, all be it illegally mind, but hey, it's a mk1 Golf Gti  ;D

Well I've always had my suspicians about you rich mate  ;)  I'm glad it was the black one that got nicked and not the white one...  

Its a good job I havent got a gearbox at the moment, that way rich you cant take it ;)

yeah peeps never print pics on the web with number plates showin!!!! totally agree with overseerif its showin the plate they can find where it is!!!!!

My address is printed wrong on all OS maps, even my dad GPS has got my street wrong. So good luck finding my house!

im alright about cos i sleep in my car every night with a bat.

seriously tho have you seen on ebay the 'digital photo' key cutting. you buy a key blank from them and send them a photo of your existing key and they cut it. what do you reckon they keep the photo and pop round to your adress in the middle of the night and drive away all nice like  :o
