The damaged rear,

The guestimate so far is 4500 euro before labour, that before any of it is taken apart, I'll find out next week after the insurance enginneer has examined it.

My mate has sorted me out with a car but I feel like and old man, a Mercedes E200, nice but in maybe 15-20 years.

I think the worst time to have a heart attack is during a game of charades. Especially if your teammates are bad guessers.

Oh f***

That does look bad. I can see why they are quoting big numbers for the repair.

They should throw the whole of the book at him.....several times.....until he bleeds to death.

Or is that a little too severe?

Not severe enough IMO. Driving without insurance is pretty bad. Whilst drunk is worse. He should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and made to pay for the damages, even if he has to sell all his possessions to do it.

Mate hope you get it sorted nicely.

OUCH

That looks nasty.
Uninsured drivers should be hung, drawn and quartered in my opinion... just like people who smash your car in a car park and run away!

Hope you and any passangers are ok?

The Police round our way refer to this type of accident as being "Pole-axed"

My 10 Month old daughter and I are fine, thank God/Buddha/"inset appropriate deity" .
As for the car, if its not written off, which it looks unlikely, I'm not sure how confident I'll be knowing it was hit that hard.
