Rear lights

Hey people!

I Fancy a change in the rear lights department! 
I like the look of the crystal style lights (pic below) but they are pretty common, and the thing i figured out what i don't like about them is the top clear section. To me it makes them look too lexus light style, which i don't really like.
So how could i make it red like the bottom section? (pic below)

Could spray them with red tint tail light spray - might look bit tacky tho

you can buy them like that.... i saw them at vw festival for £70 (but i would give ebay.de a try) or like said before tint spray!!

if i was you i'd get them profesionally sprayed. Ive used to have all red lights on my mk2 but with time the top sectio nturned orange, now i got half red half orange.

those in the second pic are deffo spray tinted...looks naff too..
