ABS Sensor Wiring Loom
« on: 20 August 2008, 18:53 »
Hi,

Some help would be great please  :embarassed:

I have a MK5 2.0 GT TDI (140BHP) and the front right hand abs sensor loom which plugs into the abs sensor has been rubbing against my alloy and as you can guess has broken the loom.

I have brought a new loom from VW. Thre loom goes from the abs sensor upto the wheel arch into a rubber grommit and I cant figure out where it comes out in the engine bay, I have pulled the rubber grommit out but it looks as though the loom goes between the wheel arch and a plastic inner lining within the engine bay  :undecided:

Does anyone have any wiring diagrams or info where this look would go into? The end of the loom I have from VW just has 2 bare wires one green & one grey/Black wire so would it wire directly into the main loom? Or would it connect to something first? I just cant seem to see it anywhere in the engine bay, HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
