"Strange one then, as all 150 engines have a frount mounted intercooler.  Have you got the engine code, at all?  (It has 3 letters & can be found in the handbook, on a sticker in the spare wheel well, or engraved on the engine itself (under the plastic cover).

ps  As you know, all 25th Anniversary Golfs were numbered as they were a limited run.  Can you tell me which no. this one is, please.

yeah he told me it was stolen but he said that it's definatley an anniversary

What do you thinks happened some sort of cut and shut? different engine into a genuine anniversary shell?

If it were an anni shell it would still have the plaque with the number on it, but it doesn't.  I think it's a bog standard 130 which someone has half converted to an anni, then got bored with.

The only thing anni on that is the clocks... even the bodykit doesn't look genuine. The stolen interior story might've passed if the lights and engine were right. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

Comes back as an anniversary on the HPI thats why i think it could be a genuine shell
