On the S3, the reason there was very little gain (4-5bhp) was because the S3 is mapped to a higher output than the ED30 in the first place. So the Ed30 will gain from the Bluefin map, just not as much as Revo map..

I liked that link mate makes me feel even more happier about getting a bluefin y  been very pleased with mine. Took it to the stealers the other day so took it of before hand before was checked for faulty fan noise, did the full vagcom check they say they have to before warranty repair , both fans repaired under warranty, happy days

having had a side by side with a standard Ed30 DSG (1 up) against my Manual Ed30 with Bluefin (2up) and the difference was clear as day. Thats enough for me.

and me being on the receiving end of that "side by side" i can yes it did gradually pull away  .But only at high speeds i will add. I dont have too many traction issues recently do i

Mine is being RR'd at the RR day in October.

Looking forward to seeing your results! It might put to bed this rubbish that the bluefin gives no gains!!

Sure is Russ, and I foooookin love it!!! The Miltek now seems at one with the engine, brilliant!!

Don't tend to venture to far to be honest, only work and back (by the NEC) apart from the odd show here and there!
