How the f#*k do i turn traffic anouncements off?

Silly question i know but ive had my mk4 for about 3 months now and still cant figure out how to turn the highly annoying traffic anouncements off.

I know this may have already been asked somewhere but any help would be more than greatly appriciated

think you hold down the TP button for a few seconds

I'm sure i've tried that and it brings up a menu, then i've fiddled around with all the menu settings to no avail

try holding down the FM button

lol mate i had the same problem could figure it out at all, music goign then blam traffic tripe!!

Think its the FM button as Rhys has said. I also had trouble with it when I got mine, glad i'm not the only one.

I hope so cus its so annoying, expecially when your driving in busy area's - went to Manchester on saturday and it was going off every 10 seconds

Have you frewad the manual? Should be in your VW walllet with the other books
