Lol I know about the heritage of the GTi, but was just thinking about (cheap) potential mods. I like the thought of white GTi with green stripe + green calipers + maybe green neons! Looks sweet in my head.

What about a red stripe that lit up? Like Knight Rider?*

Not too sure about the CF/black VW badges though - I like my chrome.





(I know it's illegal to use a red light on the front of the car whilst it's in use but there's nothing against it for shows etc).

Sorry, but it's RED RED RED all the way for me.

There are some things you should do and others you shouldn't.

It's a GTI after all, not a 1.4 lookalike :rolleyes:

....I couldn't agree more. Each to their own, BUT!! the Red Stripe is one of the GTI features which pays homage to the long and successful history of this iconic car.
