couple of quid from halfords or stealer for the locking wheel nut

not sure on the jack tbh - try not to use the 'widow maker' if i can help it lol - only in emergencies

better to have one that not, it's not exactly practical for most people to carry a trolley jack in their car everywhere.

check the scrappies/breakers for a jack, i imagine it'll be a damn sight cheaper than new from the stealers.

I've got a locking wheel nut key if it's the same as yours you can have it for £5 cost £15. Although not sure how we find out.

Since you are in the midlands, give Midland VW a call.  they are based in Cannock. I used them a few years back, were very helpful and cheaper than the stealers. Te: 01543 495700

didn't say he should have a trolley jack in the boot  :rolleyes:

said that the 'widow maker' is designed for emergencies and not general usage
