What do we think of these?....

I don't like them

Three reasons really:-

1. They stick out from the bodywork.
2. They encroach on part of the bodywork on the inner side, covering what is (for me) the best few curves of the front section.
3. They don't blend like the honeycomb OEM ones do with the grille.

I like the look of the whole car, though would never do mine like that!

The CF fogvents suit the design of that particular car but would look  on any stock GTi unless they were smoothed in and flush with the bodywork and colourmatched to the rest of the car.

....Some folks in the U S of A have colour coded those CF fog vents but they look even more 'aftermarket' as a result. Each to their own though

how can you say theyre chav..

maybes your chavs down your way are up market, but i dont know any chavs with carbon fibre on their cars... they all drive broken chavaliers, old fiestas, novas... and spend all their money at halfords on ripseed.. the only chavs with carbon fibre i can think of is the sticky stuff from halfords.lol
