which tyres?

hi all i am buying some 18" wheels for my mk4 golf and i was wondering which tyres are needed to make sure my golf rides properly ie not changing the speedo or anything like that?
also what tyres are good kumhos?

Goodyears EF1s also get my vote :)

I havent tried many others but have the Goodyears on at the moment and they have been stella so far.

F1's are the king of road tyres. Assuming you have 205/55 16's as standard, you will need 225/40 18's to keep the same rolling radius.

Make way for..... 'The Silver Bullet'! 227 bhp, KO3-S'd AGU, R-TECH Spec 2 map 8), Forge 007P, Blueflame Turbo-back, Eibach -30mm's, YellowStuff front/RedStuff rear pads, Goodridge braided lines, TT Short-shifter, R32 Dogbone, TT W/B bushes, Forge TIP, G60 fly/VR6 clutch, 5.5 ltr washer bottle,

Just out of intrest  :nerd: i only have baby 15" awwwww if/when i but 18's on, will i still need the 225/40 size??  :huh:
