No way!  I ditched them after just two months.  They really were both shyte and dangerous.  I thought I said about them in another thread - but SWMBOs nagging, so I'll have to bu&&er off for a while.  It might have been in my PS2 verses F1 Asymmetric thread!

Don't rule out the vredestein sessantas.  £80 a pop and highly rated.  Just behind the F1's on the evo trial.  I am gettin either 2 or 4 fitted in the next few weeks.  Tyre dealer says he will do 4 for £320.

Ah... 182 it was your good self i was referring to earlier...excellent mate well done, sounds like a great bargain. However, shipping to Glasgow, local fitting, valves, balance and all that palavour may well just make your good deal (even if I were lucky enough to get the same) turns it into my normal one I guess

Still, one benefit of living north of the haggis and heather line is the high number of fantastic twisty roads to hammer round.....sh1t...its always raining though...better get new tyres...

They are Korean shyte.  A few months back, I had a Tiguan for a day, and that had Kumhos on it - I thought sommat was wrong - that really did suffer with understeer.  Bear in mind that the Tiguan is the same chassis as the Golf V - basically a 4wd GolfPlus, and they don't understeer (one in the family  :embarassed:).

Put the beer back on the shelve and start saving your dosh for a set of four!

No thanks, they share the same weak carcass construction methods which Pirelli (and also Yokohama) use.  Which means they need a hard tread rubber, with continuous linked tread blocks for constructional stability.  When the tread wears you'll be fighting with the steering wheel as though it was a crazed aligator, just to keep it in a straight line.  And the construction info isn't bollox - it was what the Vredstein chaps told me at last years Inters!

If the Kumho's were on the Tiguan, I am guess they were factory fitted? Did VW fit these shyte tyres from stock? I know that the previous owner (but one) replaced the fronts at 15000, I am nearly 30000 now and again its time to replace.  The ones I am replacing are probably snyde as well, they are Barum Bravius!

I sometimes feel a little less planted than I should going round corners, thought a, it might be the entry speed or b, the fronts getting low,or just poor tyres all round perhaps? Had a Mini Cooper S before, it cornered like it was on rails!

First things first TT, she needs to get through her MOT on Saturday. Just paid Gordon Brown £210 as well. I  have a couple of other mods I am considering first before chucking away 2 tyres with loads of tread, however shyte they may be.
