two ways of doing it really - cut into your exisiting wiring or make a loom to conenct to the W8 light - you will have to tap into your dimmer wire behind the headlight switch to power ithttp://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/112187.aspx

i made my own too, if you can get hold of the connectors it saves you some soldering, as you don't have to solder new connectors onto the vents.
