  Funny you should say that....my father telling me about those events when he saw how easy the badge was to take off actually prompted me to raise this argument!!

Anyway, enough said...leave it up to people to decide what they want to do. I'm sure there must be a way of making the badges theft-proof anyway.

....Okay! At last some news. Firstly apologies on behalf of TTSroadsport/TTshop - Producing these carbon badges is very tricky - Cores are needed and the shipping/insurance/tax involved in both directions across the pond is a fat percentage of costs.

This is a far from ideal product for a group buy. Each individual one is hand-made to order only and it's a small cottage industry using expensive materials and TTshop haven't done business with them previously so there's no stock or track record yet.

To buy individually, delivered to your door (within UK mainland only) and including a core : -

- Rears £220 each (would be £244 individually)

- Fronts £100 each (would be £123 individually)

They are trying to establish a buy-back price for your original cores, which would then make your net costs cheaper - Please be patient for a bit longer.

On the basis of the above cost info, would everyone please revise the list if still interested. Doing so still doesn't commit you at this stage.

So, new list............................

Thanks for the update RR.

For me I think I will hold off putting my name on the new list until we know what the buy-back price is for the original core's, as based on those prices I wouldn't be interested.

....I can well understand peeps getting cold feet over the costs. If the carbonfibre manufacturer was in the UK it would make a huge difference to costs. Availability of cores, shipping them, and import taxes is a big factor in the costs.

The rear badge is hardly viable for the TTshop but they want to help by establishing goodwill and potentially gaining longer term customers.
