I'm pretty sure that VW still making the rear GTI badge (not the front), or trimsport do them: http://www.trimsport.co.uk/html/badges.html

All 8 valves are doing just fine  ;)
Seriously she's running pretty sweet, just had a gear linkage kit fitted http://www.4crawler.com/Diesel/ForSale/ShiftLinkage.shtmlwhich has made the gear changes so smooth and precise, highly recommended! Got a 16v 256mm front brake setup to go on soon, that's the one thing I really liked when I drove the 16v, the brakes felt allot better, and I will probably have some Koni's and Eibach springs fitted at the same time. After that I?ll probably have a mild cam fitted, at which point all the points I?m not happy will the car will be sorted, i.e. suspensions too soft, expecially at fast speeds, brakes, and the last 1000 revs from 5/6000rpm which is where the 8v starts to run out of puff.
