mines an import - electric seats are fun

downside is only 2 years warranty as opposed to 3 years for UK cars - resale is slightly less but if i keep it for long enough then it will hardly be noticable.

I dont see the problem with imports as long as they are all legit. Resale is less yes, but then you paid less for it in the first place so . . .

Second car down obviously.

Why so cheap do you think? Unregistered, with 0 miles and has a fairly good spec? Would it be an import possibly?

Obviously I will ring the dealer but initial thoughts??

Hmmmm - I suggest you phone Trading Standards, because clearly the advert is misleading to the point of being illegal.

A number of concerns:  the ad states "0 miles" - this is absolute BS, because ALL cars manage to gain anything upto 10 miles whilst being driven off the production line to the pound, onto the transporter, off the transporter to the ferry terminal, onto the ferry - etc, etc.  Secondly, I strongly doubt "new VW list price £29000" is correct.

They seem a bit shadey to be honest anyway. Someones even gone to the trouble of setting up a webpage to discredit them!!!:

http://dmd-sales.co.uk/

All cars have delivery miles on like you say.

Perhaps this GTI for sale was made by them in their workshop, hence 0 miles!!

A little unfair Alan, there's LOADS of Black left

Back on topic, a lucky escape then! They do look well dodgy even though I like the spec of the car and it would certainly be pretty unique around these parts
