GTi to V5!
« on: 07 August 2008, 19:55 »
Hi, I'm new to the water cooled forums (spend most of my time on VZi as i also have a vw beetle - old skool!)

I've just sold my Mk3 GTi to buy a Bora V5

I love it. I've had it lowered and am going to change to interior wood to aluminum.
Then i've got to decide which 18" Alloys would look good on it. At the mo i'm thinking RS6's but that could all change

Hi, It was an 8v and was a lovely car.
The Bora is so much more comfy tho, even when lowered and it's got 170bhp!

I know i'll eventually regret selling it!!!

Welcome

Just a quick question.... why join a Golf forum when you've just sold your Golf? It's just going to make you want it again, even if it was a boaty MK3

Should have just gone for a VR6 MK3

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
